Place for Lunch: Place Management Organizations and the Great Re-opening

Spend Your Lunch Exploring New Dimensions of Place-based Leadership across the National Capital Region

Dear Stakeholder in the Place Leadership Project:

We would like to invite you to participate in our “Place for Lunch” virtual dialogue exploring the significance of place management organizations (PMO) in the National Capital Region.  The purpose of these open virtual luncheons is to convene every other week for an hour of insight, discussion and exchange of ideas which enable a better understanding of how place management practices are advancing comprehensive urban performance.  These dialogues will be recorded and made available for people unable to join us for the live session.

Our May 1, 2020 luncheon dialogue will feature:

May-Claire Burick, President, Rosslyn BID

Kara Norman, Executive Director, Downtown Frederick Partnership

Joe Sternleib, President, Georgetown BID

Our focus is to develop a new snapshot of where PMOs now stand now in light of the public health emergency and begin to identify the new roles that BIDs, Downtown Partnerships and other place management organizations are playing to serve their stakeholders.

Event Details:

  • Friday, May 1, 2020 from Noon to 1pm
  • A link will be sent to all persons who RSVP at 11:45pm on May 1
  • A digital link will be sent to you a few minutes before the start of the session.

We hope you can join us.  Please note that this is a transferable invitation and we invite you to share this with interested stakeholders.
